AK Series 4.5KW Steam Bath Generator, Amerec
The Amerec AK4.5 steam bath generator from the AK series features a 4.5-kilowatt rating and is made for home and day spa steam baths between 60 to 90 adjusted cubic feet (ACF).
Made of durable stainless-steel, the Amerec AK4.5 is engineered to provide years of safe and maintenance-free operation. The AK4.5 steam shower generator features industrial-grade heating elements, modular snap-in control connections, durable electronic components, an electronic water-level control system, and a variety of other features. The compact design of the generator installs conveniently in cabinets, closets, vanities, and other similar locations.
The AK4.5 generator comes in 240V (9012-100) or 208V (9012-200) and can be field wired for single-phase or three-phase configurations.
When designing this generator, Amerec focused on ensuring the most even and consistent steam production and temperature each bathing session. To accomplish this, the Amerec AK4.5 uses a Sequential Temperature Control resulting in a consistent flow of soft steam and a more pleasurable experience.
The Amerec AK4.5 steam generator requires the use of the available KT60, K60, or DKT60/K60 control which regulate bathing duration and temperature, or the R30K 30-minute timer. Each control package comes with a matching finish ComfortFlo steam head.
We recommend purchasing Amerec’s ADK Automatic Drain System with your AK4.5 unit which drains the steam generator tank after each steam bath to help prevent calcification and lime build-up.
Amerec AK series steam shower generators can be linked in tandem to accommodate steam rooms larger than 550 adjusted cubic feet. Connection cables are sold separately, and each generator requires a comfortFlo steam head.
