Designer Backrests are constructed of 6 horizontally installed 1” x 1-1/2” (5/8” x 1-3/4” net) S4S, kiln dried all heart Western Red cedar fasciae atop of a series of similar vertically affixed supports.

The horizontal boards are gently curved to provide the ultimate in lower back support and to allow for air circulation between your back and the sauna wall.  Pre-drilled for easy mounting, the deluxe backrests are pre-cut as well to mount over upper benching and are surface mounted with provided fasteners for an elegant and seamless installation.  Too often when sitting in a sauna we will squirm around, trying to find a comfortable position and wind up leaning against the wall which is not only not supportive but ultimately leads to sweat stained walls. Your sauna environment should be a total relaxation center and these backrests can only add to the experience.
