The SMP-12 is a 12-kilowatt steam bath generator from the Steamist SM Plus series engineered for home steam rooms from 451 to 550 adjusted cubic feet (ACF).
All SM Plus generators are designed to provide homeowners with pleasant and consistent steam bathing experiences.
Made in the USA of durable and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the Steamist SMP-12 provides years of reliable and efficient operation. The SMP-12 steam generator is equipped with industrial-grade parts for worry-free performance. The SMP12 features SteadySteam technology to maintain the user’s temperature preferences each bathing session.
The compact design of the generator allows the unit to be installed conveniently out of sight. Typical installation locations include vanities, closets, insulated attics, and basements.
The Steamist SMP-12 has a 12-kilowatt power rating. The generator is available in 208V/240V single-phase (PH) configurations and 208V, three-phase (PH) configurations.
Select the available Steamist operating control option with features that best suit your bathing preferences. A Steamist control or control package is required for operation and is available in a variety of luxurious finishes.
We highly recommend the Steamist Auto Drain Valve to help prevent harmful mineral buildup on the heating elements and reservoir of the generator. The drain valve automatically drains the steam shower system after the water cools. For added convenience, the Auto Drain may be used with the available Steamist Generator Drain Pan.
The Steamist SMP12 carries a limited lifetime warranty and is fully serviceable. All Steamist SM-Plus residential steam shower generators are UL and CUL listed for unmatched quality and safety. Steamist SM-Plus generators are available in a variety of power ratings to best suit your bathing needs.
